My Personal View on My Physical, Spiritual and Psychological Wellbeing.

On a scale of 1-10, I score my physical wellbeing to be at 5, and my spiritual wellbeing as well as my psychological wellbeing to be at an 8.  The reason I have graded my-self at this level is that physically I am still trying to reach a greater goal, I have not gotten to the goal I have set for my-self physically but once I reached it I will be able to score my-self closer to that 10.  As for my spiritual and psychological wellbeing, I have realized that I have found satisfaction where I am in my life right now, waking up on a natural high primarily every morning confirms that I am not where I was 1 year ago.

Currently I have been working on my cardiovascular exercises, implementing jumping rope, and low impact aerobics and dance in order to continue strengthening my lungs and body, once I accomplish this, I will be able to increase my physical activity.

The Crime of the Century

I greatly enjoyed this exercise because it taught me that I could visualize each color of the rainbow.   I imagined visualizing sceneries or objects in real life such as the sunset, sun, blue water, the night sky, amethyst quartz, and an emerald. Incorporating these images helped me concentrate and became relaxed. I was able to feel a coolness all over my body.

Unit 2 Meditation Reflection

This was a great exercise and a great experience.  I have tried meditation and relaxation on my own and I thought I had been able to achieve an extreme level of relaxation, after completing this exercise it showed being much more intense.  With this exercise I as soon as the instructor started I felt a calm and started to just listening to the tone of his voice.  His instruction made me feel as if my body was floating taking the cleansing breaths in and out allowed me to be tranquil, my arms felt limp as if I were numb.  To feel the throbbing of my heart in my neck was a strange experience being at calm.  Soon, the blood starting rushing through my arms and hands again.  Again, this was a great experience of total relaxation.

Optimal Wellness is it Self-Cultivated or Reliant?

The statement, optimal wellness/flourishing is self-cultivated rather than reliant upon extrinsic healing; refers to one’s option of the integration and growth of the mind, body, spirit and emotions in becoming one. As you introduce acceptance and tranquility, this allows you to focus on yourself as a whole. Once you have acquired this respect and devotion to yourself, the positive energy that is emitted will keep you in a state of euphoria which unknowing to you, sets off an aura, and you become contagious to others. Achieving this state, allows you to project to others and educate them in what you have learned and for whom ever finds it difficult to reach this state.
