On a scale of 1-10, I score my
physical wellbeing to be at 5, and my spiritual wellbeing as well as my psychological
wellbeing to be at an 8. The reason I
have graded my-self at this level is that physically I am still trying to reach
a greater goal, I have not gotten to the goal I have set for my-self physically
but once I reached it I will be able to score my-self closer to that 10. As for my spiritual and psychological wellbeing,
I have realized that I have found satisfaction where I am in my life right now,
waking up on a natural high primarily every morning confirms that I am not
where I was 1 year ago.
Currently I have been working on my
cardiovascular exercises, implementing jumping rope, and low impact aerobics and
dance in order to continue strengthening my lungs and body, once I accomplish
this, I will be able to increase my physical activity.
The Crime of the Century
I greatly enjoyed this exercise because
it taught me that I could visualize each color of the rainbow. I imagined visualizing sceneries or objects in
real life such as the sunset, sun, blue water, the night sky, amethyst quartz, and
an emerald. Incorporating these images helped me concentrate and became relaxed.
I was able to feel a coolness all over my body.

Thank you for your observations JaeC. The meditation exercise was phenomenal to say the least. I like how light was broken down to the colors of the prism and tied to our chakras, which in essence symbolizes our energetic or spiritual essence as light. In my opinion, integral health has no limitations and it is a journey without a destination. I have to work at making the best choices for myself every day until it becomes second nature to me. I also take the time to become the observer self and look at how my actions/choices are affecting others or bringing me closer to my desires of health and wellness.
ReplyDeleteI wish you the best in your healing journey.

Hello JaeC. All we can do is to be aware of our well being and continue to make strides towards healthier lifestyles. Knowing you physical goals and designing a program to reach them is a great way to start implementing the lifestyle you want. I do not think we ever reach a full 10. There is always room for improvement. Not to mention as we age our goals and needs change. Being human is a continual motion, therefore, it does not seem reasonable to me that our health and wellness goals should stop but rather continue to evolve! Good luck reaching your goals!
