Unit 2 Meditation
Reflection
This was a great
exercise and a great experience. I have
tried meditation and relaxation on my own and I thought I had been able to
achieve an extreme level of relaxation, after completing this exercise it
showed being much more intense. With
this exercise I as soon as the instructor started I felt a calm and started to just
listening to the tone of his voice. His
instruction made me feel as if my body was floating taking the cleansing
breaths in and out allowed me to be tranquil, my arms felt limp as if I were
numb. To feel the throbbing of my heart
in my neck was a strange experience being at calm. Soon, the blood starting rushing through my
arms and hands again. Again, this was a
great experience of total relaxation.
Hey JaeC, I want to be a habitual user of meditation, I always tell myself I'm going to do it and then I let other random things take precedence and I eventually forget about it. Once again, listening to this total relaxation experience has renewed my desire to get into the habit. I loved it, it is such an exhilerating experience! I too liked the feeling of the blood flowing through the arms and throughout my body feeling such calmness within myself. You are right, his voice and light music in the background added to the ability to fully relax. kelsy
